Class experience: Brenda feels alive when she teaches. Her teaching style is accessible and inspired by yoga philosophy. Beyond breath and movement, her classes are themed around translating the practice into life off the mat with the motto "Live your practice". Brenda loves nurturing students during savasana with a scalp and temple massage infused with essential oil as you rest. Brenda is trained and experienced in teaching Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, Yin, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, and Kids Yoga.
Path to Yoga: Brenda has always been curious and up for a challenge! 10+ years ago, yoga presented itself as a monthly challenge at a local studio...challenge accepted. Every class left her with that feel-good-I-want-to-make-a-positive-impact-in-the world feeling (You know that one?) She found herself planning her schedule around yoga classes and seeking classes in every city she traveled to. Brenda has always felt inspired by her mentors to teach. She feels grateful to be on this path of service to others through teaching yoga.

More about Brenda: Born and raised in Wisconsin, Brenda is a wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. Brenda loves a stroll in the woods, diving into a refreshing lake, an exilerating roller coaster, cozy warm socks, live music, and collaborating with people living life fully. Brenda is up for any sports - these days she finds ways to tote her toddler along with her. Brenda graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a degree in sociology. Around the same time she began working in the corporate world, she also found yoga (or maybe yoga found her!).
