Customized yoga workshop designed for athletes, specifically cycling (indoor/outdoor), weight training, barre, crossfit and other types of workouts. Workshop intensive will focus on basic biomechanics of specific muscle groups (hips, low back, hamstrings, shoulders) associated with frequent injuries/discomfort. Benefits of yoga to athletes include mobility, strength, flexibility and injury prevention. Participants will gain basic understanding on how to incorporate yoga into their practice and leave with a handout of yoga poses designed for athletes. All levels and all ages welcome - no yoga experience necessary. 10 spots are available so it's encouraged to reserve in advance at Re-Cycle Sports (Orwigsburg).
