Testimonials

I’ve learned so much. Much more than the yoga postures. I’ve learned so much about my true self, my beliefs and my dharma. I’ve come to trust in that knowledge and embrace it. I’m surprised in the confidence that I’ve gained and also the ability to balance my obligations and embrace the program as much as I have. I have a tendency to fill every moment with business which creates stress. I had to learn to say no and simplify some things to be present in this journey. Brenda is such a warm, wise and knowledgeable teacher. She is supportive and firm when things begin to feel challenging, frightening and world is in chaos. Her teachings are fun, creative, organized and always purposeful. She is honest and supportive.

Going through this training felt like filling up a tool box for life and then immediately testing every tool to make sure it worked and I knew how to use it. With every twist and turn the universe threw at us, I felt equipped for it all. Which is just such a switch from where I was when I signed up. When I reflect on this experience, today and forever, it’s just gratitude. Overwhelming, overflowing gratitude and love for everyone and everything involved. Brenda is passion embodied. She’s enthusiastic about the wisdom she has to share. She leads you to your own knowledge and shared insight and encouragement to get you there. She’s effective and concise while still personal and caring.

I can hardly believe how much I’ve learned. I’m delighted to leave the course knowing how to create my own yoga asana practice - for myself and maybe someday to also teach others. I can’t get enough of studying the philosophy and definitely plan to continue. I was surprised that our group bonded to quickly and deeply - wonderful! It was clear that Brenda had the big picture and the small details in mind at all times. She gave us plenty of space to make the learning our own, yet skillfully guided us. We learned and absorbed sooo much in a few months!

This program meant more to me than anything. So profound. So introspective.

Going in to this training I worried that I would be different from others. I have quickly learned that because we have yoga, we have everything we need to love and lift each other up. It has been shocking to me just how incredible every facet of this journey has been. I expected to grow in my poses, to get better at them, but the real work, the hard work, happened inside. Brenda’s teaching style is to meet you exactly where you are. To guide you, without any force, to see the light deep within you, by first showing you the light in her.

I loved this program! It was so perfect! The schedule and homework was reasonable to handle for anyone with a full time job. The class content and learning materials where all top notch. Throughout the program I showed up with an open mind knowing I was meant to there. I was also very surprised about how well our group connected.Throughout the training you learn so much about yourself and the yoga practice. The vast knowledge you will gain is transforming. Even if you think you don’t want to become a yoga teacher you will come out of the training completely confident and ready to teach.

This training encouraged me to re-evaluate who I thought I was, who I want to be, and how I’m perceived by others. Curiosity is what brought me to this program. Brenda’s teaching for me can only be described as holding space. It was clear that the structure of the class was well thought out.

One of the greatest gifts was finding out there were more people out there just like me than I would’ve imagined! That a side of me that I’d kind of always kept hidden had a chance to shine!! And that people liked that side!! I was meant to be on this journey at this time. My life is changed forever. Brenda is kind, passionate and genuine. Her love for herself, her practice and her community are always shining through. When she teaches/shares it truly comes from her heart and her desire to share her gifts with those who are open to them. She truly listens and seems like she feels everything with you.

Yoga teacher training caused a total shedding of my attachment to ego. With the initial dive into self study, I felt like I was ripping beliefs that had deep roots out of the garden of my mind. We tended to the soil through our routines and practices which created a new rich environment for us to explore within ourselves. I did not know the beginning of training would be such an intensely emotional experience, a purge of strongly held ideas, but I am so happy that it was and that I was able to ultimately meet myself for who I am.Brenda has this incredible ability to hold space for everyone - you feel seen, heard, listened to, and cared for. I will be forever grateful she was the person I did this training with, her thoughtfulness and love shows in everything she does.Jump in head first (or cannonball into it) and allow yourself to feel it all. It will be one of the best things you have ever done for yourself.

I just feel like my expectations for how I was going to feel at this moment were far exceeded. I knew I wanted to take the opportunity to dive in, but I never knew I would get this deep. I also didn't expect to come out of it with 6 new, dear friends. I think being openhearted and openminded allowed me to experience this training without fear or judgement.

This training has been the best decision I have made give myself. The bond with the others students happened quickly and I feel a true connection. On days when I was overwhelmed with regular life and homework, I would reflect on my intention and push thru. When things were hard, my intention kept me focused. If you have the opportunity to explore this training, do it. You will not regret it. It has been the best decision I have done for myself. I have grown so much over these last 5 months and look forward to continue this grow. You will be surrounded by amazing teachers and learn more deeply about not only yoga but also yourself.
