Yoga for kids is a balance between spontaneity and structure, kids learn to listen to each other as well as express themselves creatively. This class incorporates story, song, games and poses allowing children to learn in a multi-sensory environment which explores kinaesthetic (movement), visual, oral, inter-and intra-personal learning.
Kids will benefit by practicing in a non-competitive learning environment, developing and building strength, coordination, flexibility and balance. In addition to the physical benefits, yoga brings calmness and peace of mind allowing children to become more aware of their bodies, achieve better focus and concentration; or in yoga terms, creating mindfulness.
